Welcome to the world
The School of Business, Economics and Society offers students various opportunities to spend part of their studies abroad. Examples include exchange semesters, double degree programs with partner universities, internships, and field trips abroad.
Grants from national and regional organizations, as well as various foundations support students financially during their stays abroad. Credits earned abroad can be recognized and counted towards a degree at the School of Business and Economics. An International Day is held each year in November. Students can gather information and get in touch with useful contacts at this event.
The International Office can offer support and consultations if you need more assistance. Please stop by our office at Lange Gasse or visit our website for more information.
Study abroad/free movers
Students interested in studying abroad can choose between Erasmus+ stays at partner universities in Europe or semesters abroad at partner universities around the world. The option of going to a different international university as a ‘free mover’ is also available.
More information about studying abroad or going to a university as a free mover is available on the International Office’s website (German).
Internships
In addition to exchange semesters at universities in other countries, students have the opportunity to participate in internships with companies located outside of Germany. This offers them an opportunity to gain international experience through practical work related to their studies.
More information about internships is available on the International Office’s website (German).
