The School is an organizational unit of the University. It is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing all aspects related to teaching and studying in Business and Economics, including implementing University regulations and setting examination regulations. It is able to decide how to organize its own research, to co-ordinate research projects and to determine its own Research Focus Areas.
The School is committed to promoting young researchers, which includes making positions available. Furthermore, the School has the right to make decisions on research staff (e.g. when appointing professors) and to distribute its budget as it considers necessary.
In order to fulfil its administrative duties the School has established various committees, such as the School Board and the School Council.
